Verkor opens its first battery gigafactory in France
Verkor’s newly opened gigafactory will operate with an initial capacity of 16 GWh per year, with plans to scale up production to 50 GWh by 2030
French battery company Verkor has inaugurated its first lithium-ion low-carbon battery cell gigafactory in Bourbourg in Dunkirk, France, the company announced Dec. 11.
