BMW recalls over 87,000 vehicles in US due to issue with the engine starter
BMW recalled about 200,000 vehicles in the US due to a similar issue in September 2025, bringing the total number of affected vehicles to more than 341,000
BMW North America is recalling 87,394 vehicles in the US to fix an issue with the engine starter that may cause it to overheat and, in extreme cases, pose a fire risk.
