Before the deal, Indian auto component exports to the US were subject to an average tariff of about 25%
The bilateral trade agreement finalized between India and the US will see nearly half of auto parts exported to the US attracting zero duty, Autocar Professional reported, citing Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal.
