The US-based supplier's iDM integrates advanced technologies for range-extended electric vehicles, enhancing efficiency and all-wheel-drive capabilities

BorgWarner has secured a supply order from a premium European original equipment manufacturer to supply its 800-volt Integrated Drive Module (iDM) for a range-extended electric vehicle (REEV), with mass production scheduled to commence in 2029. Last week, the US-based supplier also won an order to supply 800-volt secondary iDMs and a dual-inverter generator module for a North American OEM.
