Geely-backed Horse Powertrain unveils new hybrid powertrain concept

The system is based on the Horse H12 hybrid engine concept, developed in collaboration with the Spanish energy company Repsol

Horse Powertrain, a global joint venture backed by Geely, Renault Group and Aramco, revealed a new hybrid powertrain concept in February 2026. This hybrid powertrain is designed to operate on 100% renewable gasoline, with the first demonstrator vehicle set for release in early 2026.
