Islington council in the UK secures about £1 million in grant funding to expand EV charging infrastructure

The planned investment includes installing 840 new EV charge points: 600 lamp column charge points (5 kW) and 240 fast-charge points (7 kW)

The Islington Council in the UK has secured close to £1 million from the Department for Transport as part of a £1.86 million government funding, along with private investments, to expand electric vehicle charging points in the borough.
