Puget Sound Energy and ChargeScape launch V2H technology demonstration in Washington
The initiative uses EVs as backup power sources to improve grid reliability and reduce energy costs
Puget Sound Energy (PSE) and ChargeScape have initiated the first demonstration of new vehicle-to-home (V2H) technology in Washington, enabling electric vehicles (EVs) to power homes during power outages. This test involves partners Ford, Kia, and Wallbox, with initial participation from bidirectional-capable EVs like the Ford F-150 Lightning and Kia EV9.
