India’s capital city has approximately 8,800 charging stations that are largely set up by power distribution companies

The Delhi government is working on an aggressive electric vehicle policy that could mandate installation of about 7,000 EV chargers across India’s capital city, according to a news report published by the Press Trust of India on March 23.
