Exide Industries Ltd. has announced a new capital investment of 4.5 billion rupees (approximately $48 million) in its wholly owned subsidiary, Exide Energy Solutions Ltd. (EESL), bringing its total financial commitment in the electric vehicle battery sector to 480.2 billion rupees.
