In affected vehicles, the sun visor or headliner wiring harnesses may be improperly positioned or have excessive tape thickness
Ford is recalling 140,201 model year 2026 Ranger pickup trucks in the US to fix damaged wires that can create an electrical short and cause a fire in the A-pillar area, increasing the risk of injury or a crash, Reuters reported on April 22, citing the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
