Auto China 2026: Pony.ai unveils Level 4 driverless light truck; sets 2027 robo-taxi cost target
The company details plans to scale robo-taxi fleets domestically and overseas, enhance Level 4 technology, and expand operations to more than 20 cities globally
Pony.ai used Auto China 2026 to outline its road map for the next stage of autonomous mobility, highlighting a target to reduce the total cost of its robo-taxi vehicles, including the base vehicle, autonomous driving kit and battery, to below 230,000 yuan (about $33,000) per car.
