New ultra-rapid chargers at three Limes retail sites will add 14 bays, enhancing driver convenience, retail footfall and sustainability credentials in a low-provision region

National charging network Be.EV is investing £1.3m into the East Midlands with the deployment of ultra-rapid EV chargers at retail sites. The three sites, owned by Limes Developments Ltd and Limes Estates Ltd, are Northgate Retail Park in Newark, Lakeside Retail Park in Scunthorpe and Panattoni Park in South Normanton, which together see almost 236,000 cars pass by each day. The sites are going live imminently and the investment will provide 14 ultra-rapid charging bays, with chargers on-site adding 165 miles of range in 20 minutes.
