LG Innotek wins order to supply automotive Wi-Fi 7 communication module to Europe-based Tier-1 supplier

The compact, durable module boosts in-vehicle connectivity speeds and will support AVN systems for a global OEM from 2027

LG Innotek will supply its automotive Wi-Fi 7 communication module, featuring advanced Wi-Fi technology, to a Europe-based tier1 supplier in a deal worth approximately $68 million, with mass production scheduled to begin in 2027. The module will be integrated into audio, video and navigation (AVN) systems, which will then be delivered to a global OEM customer. By commercializing its first automotive Wi-Fi 7 communication module since 2005, the South Korean supplier expects to cement its position in the global automotive connectivity solution market.
