Xiaomi's EV unit appoints new senior executives to accelerate expansion overseas
Yu Liguo will lead overseas planning, while Song Gang will assume production duties, supporting Xiaomi’s step-by-step global EV rollout from 2027 onward
Xiaomi's electric vehicle (EV) unit has adjusted the responsibilities of key executives as it prepares to enter overseas markets. According to a report by local media Sina Tech, Xiaomi has appointed auto division vice-president Yu Liguo as head of the overseas business preparation group, with Yu reporting to Xiaomi Group CEO Lei Jun and president William Lu.
