Adient returns to profit in Q2 FY 2025/26 as sales rise 7% YOY to $3.9 billion
The US-based supplier revised its FY 2025/26 outlook, expecting full-year sales of approximately $14.8 billion and adjusted EBITDA of approximately $880 million
Adient reported a 7% year-over-year increase in sales to $3.9 billion in the second quarter ended March 31, 2026. Higher sales helped the US-based seating supplier to turn around its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) to $127 million against an EBIT loss of $216 million in the second quarter of fiscal year (FY) 2024/25. Adient reported net income of $27 million against a net loss of $335 million in the second quarter of the previous fiscal year.
