BorgWarner to supply turbocharger and EGR cooler to a European vehicle manufacturer
The jointly developed components will equip a new long-haul truck engine platform, with series production scheduled to start in 2028 at plants in the UK and Spain
BorgWarner has secured business with a major European commercial vehicle original equipment manufacturer to supply a high-efficiency variable turbine geometry (VTG) turbocharger and an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler for a Euro 7-compliant, 6-cylinder heavy-duty diesel engine platform.
