Automotive Grade Linux launches SoDeV reference platform for SDVs
The latest AGL UCB “Ultimate Unagi” release delivers initial SoDeV access, expanded hardware support, and enhanced SDV development tools and frameworks for automakers and suppliers
Automotive Grade Linux (AGL), a collaborative project at the Linux Foundation developing the open-source platform for software-defined vehicles (SDVs), has announced the initial availability of its open-source SoDeV reference platform and the addition of five new members: EMQ, Lineo Solutions, MediaTek, VA Linux Systems Japan and Very Good Ventures. The initial version of the AGL open-source SoDeV reference platform is accessible via the latest AGL Unified Code Base (UCB) release, codenamed "Ultimate Unagi," and is intended to enable software-first development decoupled from hardware constraints.
