Hesai partners with Mercedes-Benz to supply lidar for Level 3 models
The new lidar supply deal will support Mercedes-Benz programs in Europe and China, with production handled by Hesai’s Galileo manufacturing center in Thailand
Hesai Group, a global tech company, disclosed in its first-quarter 2026 earnings release that it serves as a strategic lidar partner and a confirmed supplier to Mercedes-Benz models, enabling Level 3 autonomy.
