The US Commerce Department has granted Volvo Cars a specific authorization following constructive discussions with government agencies regarding the company's governance, technology and data security

Volvo Cars, which is majority-owned by China's Geely Holding, has said it received approval from the US government allowing it to continue selling vehicles in the United States.
