Honda recalls nearly 60,000 vehicles in US over rearview camera malfunction risk

According to the NHTSA, the malfunction occurs because the camera's housing may not be properly bonded

Honda is recalling 59,887 vehicles because of an increased risk of a crash or injury linked to rearview camera malfunctions, The Detroit News reported on May 21, citing a notice posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The recall covers the 2024 Acura ZDX and the 2024–2025 Honda Prologue. In affected vehicles, rearview camera displays show distorted or blank images.
