BYD launches Xuanji A3 autonomous driving chip
The 4-nanometer chip targets Level 3 and 4 autonomy, cuts hardware costs, and underpins BYD’s intelligent-driving R&D push and liability-shifting safety strategy
BYD has unveiled its new Xuanji A3 autonomous driving chip and a centralized vehicle computing platform, strengthening its position in the rapidly evolving intelligent driving market. The company said that the Xuanji A3 delivers industry-leading energy efficiency while consuming 20% less power than comparable solutions.
