Astemo Americas joins Nvidia Drive Hyperion ecosystem as tier 1 partner
The company will build dual SoC control units to support high-performance compute, functional safety and OTA updates for advanced vehicle platforms
Astemo Americas is working with Nvidia as a Hyperion tier 1 partner to develop dual Nvidia Drive AGX Thor electronic control units (ECUs) for automotive original equipment manufacturers, a move that expands its participation in the Nvidia Drive Hyperion ecosystem as automakers seek to progress from Level 2 systems toward software-defined vehicles (SDVs) intended to be ready for Level 4 capability.
