The project focuses on strengthening South Korea’s circular economy by reusing materials from end-of-life tires.
Hankook Tire & Technology has launched a national research initiative to advance sustainable tire manufacturing, with a kick-off event on June 4 at its Hankook Technodome research center in Daejeon. The project, part of the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment’s 2026 Environmental Technology Development Program, focuses on strengthening South Korea’s circular economy by reusing materials from end-of-life tires.
