Ford recalls over 125,000 previously recalled vehicles in US to correct faulty repair work

The recalls cover F-150, Escape, Focus and Fusion models with lighting, window, gear-selection and transmission-clutch defects

Ford is recalling more than 125,000 vehicles that had previously been recalled, this time to correct repair work that was not performed properly, The Detroit News reported on June 16, citing the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The new recalls cover certain F-150, Escape, Focus and Fusion models with issues involving daytime running lamps, power windows, gear selection and a transmission clutch. Ford will notify affected owners by July 6, and dealers will perform the specified repairs at no cost.
