The NHTSA filing followed more than a dozen events since early April in California and Arizona, marking Waymo’s second recall in just over a month

Waymo, Alphabet’s self-driving unit, is recalling nearly 3,900 robo-taxis in the US due to a software issue that could cause vehicles to enter closed freeway construction zones and continue driving.
