The project has developed a new generation of BMS that can detect battery damage and aging from within EV batteries
A research consortium led by Graz University of Technology (TU Graz), Vrije Universiteit Brussel and industry partners has developed an enhanced battery management system (BMS) capable of detecting damage and monitoring ageing inside electric vehicle batteries, a breakthrough aimed at improving battery safety, performance and service life.
