BroadBit announces new breakthrough in LMFP battery cycle life
The prototype 18650 cells used graphite anodes and ProLion 3M electrolyte, with additional validation under elevated temperatures and varied conditions underway
BroadBit Batteries said it has achieved a new performance milestone for lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) battery technology, reporting that its prototype 18650 cylindrical LMFP cells retained 85% of their original capacity after 2,000 full charge-discharge cycles.
