CATL launches its first field-validated sodium-ion energy storage system
Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL) unveiled the Tener Sodium energy storage system, which it claims is the world's first field-validated sodium-ion battery energy storage solution, expanding its push into an emerging technology seen as a lower-cost alternative to some lithium-based batteries.
