Sensata Technologies has introduced an Active + Passive PyroFuse (STPS500P Series), a high-voltage protection device designed for electrified systems such as electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and industrial applications. The device combines system-triggered (active) and current-driven (passive) protection mechanisms in a single unit to improve fault protection and simplify system design.
