Ford recalls nearly 388,000 Explorer and Lincoln Aviator SUVs in US over seat switch defect
The recall covers 2020–2026 Explorer and 2020–2027 Aviator models; dealers will inspect and replace the switch bezel if needed
Ford Motor is recalling 387,911 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator sport utility vehicles in the US because second-row seat switches may stick and allow seats to unlatch, tip or slide unexpectedly, The Detroit News reported on July 21, citing the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
