Britain’s decision to scrap VAT on household electricity from October is set to make home EV charging more affordable
The UK government will remove value-added tax (VAT) on domestic electricity bills from Oct. 1, cutting the rate from 5% to zero in a move expected to reduce annual household energy costs by about £45 under Ofgem’s price cap.
