Illinois to open new EV rebate program
The application period runs through Dec. 31 with $2,000 EV rebates, an extra $2,000 for low-income applicants and $1,500 for motorcycles
The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will open its next electric vehicle rebate application cycle on Aug. 1, 2026, with $14 million appropriated for the program in fiscal 2027.
