Ford to integrate Apple Maps into Universal Electric Vehicle platform
The platform will support turn-by-turn navigation, EV routing and battery preconditioning, while Ford uses Apple road-level data for next-generation BlueCruise
Apple Maps will be built into Ford’s Universal Electric Vehicle Platform in 2027 through Apple’s new MapKit for Automotive SDK, the companies have said.
