Waymo plans independent Austin and Atlanta robo-taxi entry in January 2028
Waymo has held internal discussions about exiting current agreements; Uber says it will offer services there until May 2028
Alphabet's Waymo is considering ending its Uber robo-taxi partnership and has told Uber it plans to enter Austin and Atlanta independently in January 2028, according to a Financial Times report on July 25.
