ZF Lifetec plans to start production of infrared seatbelts from August
The company's new Infrared Belt is intended for all seating positions and is aimed at helping automakers meet current and future NCAP requirements
ZF Lifetec, the passive safety subsidiary of the ZF Group, said it will start series production in August of an infrared seatbelt designed to help interior cameras verify whether occupants are wearing belts correctly.
