BMW recalls over 318,000 vehicles in US over engine starter fire risk
The recall also covers certain Toyota Supra vehicles, which were co-developed with BMW and share its engine with the Z4
BMW is recalling 318,495 vehicles in the US to fix an engine starter that may overheat and catch fire, Reuters reported on July 23, citing the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
