Gentex posts higher profit in Q2 2026 despite marginal decline in sales to $651.3M
Gentex has revised its full-year 2026 financial outlook, expecting sales in the range of $2.65 billion to $2.75 billion
Gentex Corp. reported net sales of $651.3 million in the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, down 1% year over year from $657.9 million a year earlier, as weaker automotive demand in Europe, Japan/Korea and mainland China offset strong performance in North America. Automotive revenue fell 3% year over year to $560.1 million, affected by lower vehicle production and reduced auto-dimming mirror shipments.
