BMW sets December start for iX5 battery production at Woodruff
The South Carolina site will assemble Gen6 cell-to-pack batteries for BMW’s Plant Spartanburg using cylindrical round cells
BMW Group Plant Woodruff will begin series production of high-voltage batteries for the new fully electric BMW iX5 in December, the company said.
