Renesas plans to halt production at Takasaki factory within 2 to 3 years
The company will strengthen R&D at the site for analog ICs and power semiconductors for data center and automotive applications
Renesas Electronics said it will end production at its Takasaki Factory in Japan within two to three years, while keeping and strengthening research and development functions at the site.
