The MIIT standard takes effect on July 1, 2027, covering M-category passenger and N-category cargo vehicles but excluding automated parking systems

Mainland China has issued a mandatory national standard for the safety of Level 3 and Level 4 autonomous driving systems, which will take effect on July 1, 2027.
