AESC delays third Sunderland battery line after JLR talks stall
The delay follows lower-than-expected Nissan demand and no JLR agreement; Agratas is building a Somerset plant due to start production in 2027
AESC has delayed adding a third production line at its Sunderland, UK, battery gigafactory after talks to supply Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) stalled, people familiar with the matter said, according to a report by The Guardian.
