Chinese battery-cell makers plan solid-state battery trails from 2027
BYD, CATL and Geely also target 2027 trials; CALB, Gotion and Farasis outline commercial production from 2029 to 2032
Chinese battery-cell manufacturers such as Farasis Energy, CALB and Volkswagen-backed Gotion High-Tech are planning to commence trial production and road tests of their respective solid-state batteries (SSBs) in 2027.
