Kaspersky discovers Android malware targeting vehicle infotainment head units
The June campaign abused DoFun firmware update mechanisms to install JarService, enabling unwanted ads, ad fraud and further malicious downloads.
Kaspersky said it has uncovered the first documented Android malware campaign tailored to infect vehicle head units through their software update chain.
