Greater China’s EV charging network grows to over 23.68 million charging points
Public EV charging facilities totaled 5.099 million, while private EV charging facilities rose to 18.58 million as NEV sales exceeded 60% of monthly new car sales in July 2026
Greater China’s electric vehicle (EV) charging points reached 23.68 million by the end of July 2026, up 41.9% from a year earlier, the National Energy Administration said on Aug. 24.
