China proposes requiring automakers to handle fully autonomous vehicle violations
Assisted-driving systems and vehicles with inactive autonomous functions would remain regulated as non-autonomous vehicles
China has proposed a 170-article revision to its road-safety law that would require automakers or importers to handle traffic violations committed while vehicles operate in fully autonomous mode, CCTV reported.
