Antolin's restructuring reflects broader challenges facing automotive interior suppliers
Strong order intake and advanced interior technologies provide grounds for optimism
Antolin's Chapter 15 filing in the US has drawn attention across the automotive supplier industry, but the move should not be mistaken for a traditional bankruptcy filing. In July, the Burgos, Spain-based supplier petitioned the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York for Chapter 15 recognition, a legal framework that allows foreign companies undergoing restructuring in their home country to protect assets located in the US.
