Production of the system is localized in North America, with AISIN North Carolina manufacturing the transaxle and electric motors, while DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee supplies the inverter.

BluE Nexus has collaborated with Aisin Corp. and Denso Corp. to jointly develop a two-motor hybrid drive module for Stellantis’ new Jeep Cherokee sport utility vehicle. The new module uses a high-efficiency, high-torque transaxle and control optimization for both the motor and the boost converter, which increases voltage.
