Ubitricity, Deftpower roll out interoperable smart charging across 1500 public charging points in the Netherlands
The rollout follows a pilot of more than 400 charge points and enables app-based cashback for off-peak EV charging.
Ubitricity and Deftpower are deploying OCPI 2.2.1 Charging Profiles across 1,500 public charge points in the Netherlands, which they said makes Ubitricity the first operator to do so globally at scale. The move will allow smart charging with cashback to be managed at the charge point, helping EV drivers shift charging to off-peak periods and reduce pressure on the Dutch electricity grid.
