Nippon Seiki heads up the new technologies for the X5
[[BMW_cutaway.gif border=0]] The BMW X5 is the second generation of the SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) manufactured by the Bavarian automakers and has a number of technological firsts for this class of vehicle, including a head-up display provided by Nippon Seiki. The system, located in the cockpit behind the instruments cluster, displays driver information at a convenient point on the windscreen. BMW plans to fit this HUD in approximately 15 - 20% of vehicles.
