Suppliers to the Rolls-Royce Drophead Coupé
Michelin and Goodyear dispense with the spare tire
The Phantom Drophead Coupé is the first new open-top Rolls-Royce since the Corniche in 2002, and boasts the largest fabric top of any modern convertible. The vehicle debuted at the 2007 Detroit auto show, and was introduced to Europe at Geneva. This two-door, four-seat convertible version of the Phantom evolved from the 100EX concept, built to celebrate 100 years of Rolls Royce. Although based on the Phantom, the Drophead Coupé requires 1,300 new parts. A 6.75L V12 engine powers the automobile.
